New Arrivals



Its been a wet and windy few weeks with very little going on, this week sees the return of the Sun and up to 12 Black Headed Gull with 4 juvenile birds in tow. Grey Herons visiting everyday now with up to 4 on Friday. The Feeders are busy with young Greenfinch and Goldfinch plus Blue Tits and Gt Tit, up to 200 Starlings in the East field today with 8 Lapwing. Linnets, Skylark, Meadow Pipits and Reed Bunting are all flitting around on the North Shore and House Martins, Swallows and the odd Swift are constantly skimming the reservoir. The best news is that the residant Little Owls have managed to get two Owlets off and they are both flying about quite well now. The Yellow Legged Gull hasnt returned yet so we will have to wait and see.
